We always look for ways to push performance further, and after five years of evolution, I’m beyond excited to introduce the new Speed Kolossos—our most advanced oversized derailleur cage yet.
What’s New?
This is more than just an update. The Speed Kolossos takes everything that made the original great and dials it up a notch:
✔ Stiffer & More Aero: A refined shape inspired by our Aero Kolossos keeps things sleek and integrates perfectly with today’s modern road and gravel bikes.
✔ Larger 20-Tooth Lower Pulley: Bigger means lower friction, which means more speed. This is one of the biggest upgrades, improving chain efficiency and overall drivetrain smoothness.
✔ Unmatched Compatibility: Works with nearly all modern Shimano & SRAM road and gravel derailleurs. No need to worry if it’ll fit your setup—if you run a front derailleur, it most likely will.
✔ Same Price, More Performance: Despite all the improvements, we’re keeping the price the same as the original Kolossos.
The Details That Matter
Every time we develop a new product, we test and refine until we’re sure it meets our high standards. The Speed Kolossos isn’t just stiffer and more aerodynamic—it’s also just as lightweight as the original, coming in at only 98 grams. That’s right, no added weight despite the larger lower pulley and stronger cage.
And of course, our ceramic Corrosion Resistant bearings to ensure the lowest possible friction. Out of the box, it’s equipped with Road seals for dry conditions, but if you ride in the mud and rain, you can easily swap them for our Cross seals for better protection.
Customization Options: Because Your Bike Deserves It
Performance is king, but style matters too. That’s why we’re launching Speed Kolossos in classic Stealth Black Anodized and Raw finishes, plus a limited Black Gold Cerakote edition.
Looking for something unique? We now offer full custom Cerakote colors, so you can match your Kolossos to your bike’s exact aesthetic. And for the first time ever, we’re also offering custom-matched Kogel bottom brackets.
